Doppio Zero is an Italian restaurant, pizzeria and bar that brings to life the culture, food, and traditions of Southern Italian cuisine. Founded in Mountain View in 2014, Doppio Zero has won numerous dining awards for its authentic Neapolitan pizza and freshly made pasta. In recent years Doppio Zero has expanded its restaurant portfolio, opening a location in San Francisco Hayes Valley in 2018, and another location in Concord's beautiful The Veranda shopping mall in the fall of 2020.

Our Locations: Doppio Zero Mountain View
Doppio Zero has numerous restaurants in the Bay Area. Our beautiful locations feature spacious floor plans with comfortable seating and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. All our locations follow county guidelines for COVID-19, encouraging masks and meticulously disinfecting all tables and common areas. Our Mountain View location is minutes from the Shoreline Amphitheater and Googleplex, our Mountain View location sits just at the intersection of business and entertainment in the South Bay.
Ownership
Doppio Zero was founded by Gianni Chiloiro and Angelo Sannino, industry veterans with decades of culinary and managerial experience.
Gianni Chiloiro: Founder
Born and raised in Taranto, Italy, Gianni immigrated to San Francisco in 1980. During his 40 year career in the dining industry, he has founded multiple restaurants in the Bay Area, including Gradimento, Medioevo, and Pasta?. From 1995 to 2002 Gianni also served as President of GDS Foods. In 2014 he founded Doppio Zero with business partner Angelo Sannino.
Angelo Sannino: Founder
Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Angelo immigrated to San Francisco in 2002. Since moving to the United States, Angelo has managed several high-end restaurants, including Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills & Trattoria Dell’Arte in New York City. In 2014 he founded Doppio Zero with business partner Gianni Chiloiro.
Neapolitan Pizza
Our renowned Neapolitan pizza is made from scratch with imported 00 Flour, the finest and lightest grade of flour available. Widely regarded as the gold standard for pizza making, its soft texture and crispy crust creates a light, airy pizza that stands out from the rest.
Homemade Pasta
Our pasta is freshly made every morning in our three Bay Area locations. We use organic eggs and only the finest Italian flour in our homemade pasta, making it the perfect complement to our artisanal pasta sauces.
